They Will Keep Dehumanizing You
“When the bad fruits of a bad tree start to ripen, and you get a taste, you start doubling back at all the other trees you planted.”
At a certain point, you cannot deny when you have been dehumanized. Even worse, however, is when you realize you’ve been subjugated.
The entire rhetoric of governments, since the end of the short life of Third Way Blairite democratic republican political rhetoric, the new world of low growth, dying economies, dollar shortages started to set in, post-2008. What governments didn’t realize was how much of a failure Quantitative Easing had been for Japan, already, for nearly a decade. They thought that they could just copycat the same lazy policy, and that the PhDs at central banks are just so smart that they’ll induce growth into the economy from pure fiat. That they can just make banks want to lend through pure charisma, or something. There are times this worked. For a short period, up until 2010 or 2011, there was the illusion that it worked. However, growth never came back. Eagerness to lend never came back. The jobs never came back. Inflation never came back. Smart money never went back to being risk-on. Since 2008, the world has been in an economic stalemate.
And that’s that, but how does that tie into the world of geopolitics, of the polarization throughout the world, and how Western nations seem to be falling into this trap of totalitarianism, nihilism, and worshipping State-Gods who constantly gaslight and use them for personal gain?
The solution to low growth and the fact that the economic risk-on light has a broken switch was not to deregulate the economy, lower spending, and get people excited to risk again. This was too dangerous. We’d already established an elaborate welfare state in the west. The US had already become the world’s daddy, and we just got hit by airplanes in our hip. There’s no way the politicians of modernity, who I will once again reference Hoppe: are psychopaths who have no interest in maintaining peace, order, or prosperity, but only have interest in using its constituents as monetary piñatas, would return to some level of austerity. They have demographics to please. They have images to keep up. What, taking a pay cut? Being humble and allowing the free market to take away your power? Give me a break!
So when the economy broke down, banks became extremely risk-off, and the stock market became a game of passive investment funds to distort its attachment to the real economy, slowly but surely, the US gov’t (and other Westernized gov’ts) had a giant existential problem. They didn’t, nor have they, realized it, though. They are simply reacting, much as a short-term time preference individual would, and realizing the diminishing returns are getting more diminishy. They have to keep riling up the opposition, invigorating their own constituents, being good lapdogs to corporations, while maintaining the polarizing rhetoric of modernday commie, nihilist academia. They have all the reason in the world to keep old feuds going, and pushing this hypermaterialist rhetoric. Republicans do it by blabbering about taxes until they’re blue in the face. Democrats do it by pitching a brand new free thing they surely won’t give, but make you keep voting for them hoping you get a lick of it.
Politics used to be pageant. The pageantry of American politics, especially, has always been a thing. It’s just only after WWII, with our brave new world and new regime, where it would become a way this regime maintains its legitimacy. It traded God and unity for State and polarization. The rhetoric of not only politics, but the entire education system, to perpetuate this idea of materialism-wrought happiness. And since 2008, especially, it has been their number one goal to make sure you are picking a side, maintaining compliance to that side, and toeing the line. Because questioning the way the entire system has broken down into sectarianism, pitiful bickering, obvious flipflopping, and pinning the peasants against one another to fight in the streets has become just how they keep the show running. A showrunner has to keep it interesting, but especially for politicians, they have to maintain a distraction for as long as possible.
Because the fallout of 2008, as I’ve written extensively on, led to a system where banks no longer trusted one another, and the ability for the kind of growth and expansion we had post-WWII wouldn’t be seen again because they’d already seen how loose trust in a system full of lies (bullshit mortgage-backed securities for example) meant they weren’t excited about running up the liabilities on their balance sheet. This spread to the average businessman, especially since entrepreneurship, not just because of gov’t regulation and the Climate Change meme, but the disinterest in banks to lend. So when the bad fruits of a bad tree start to ripen, and you get a taste, you start doubling back at all the other trees you planted. That’s exactly what the financial system is facing, aside from a new world where technology has brought about an inherently deflationary economy. This leads to the sprouting of dissent; dreams that were never fulfilled, a giant class of indebted students with no real future aspirations except to rabblerouse, a society of spiritual malaise, and a virulent egregore of demonic nihilism. The average person isn’t aspiring for something great. No longer can the workingman aspire to retire at 65 on social security, nor can his boss hope to sell his business for a good price. The uncertainty of the market is ripe on the minds of Americans since the Tech Bubble and Great Financial Crisis. So when recessions hit, growth never gets back to normal, and now we have a giant portion of the population who is perpetually unemployed due to businesses being disinterested in paying the market-clearing wage, and people dependent on debt and rent moratoriums to get day-by-day, then this entire façade is made of paper-mache and not steel.
When a society is demoralized from a slowing economy, they are forced to drown their sorrows in anger and cope. This is what the politicians have capitalized on. They have turned the bad fruits of a useless central bank, dying economy, and ultimately a breaking financial system, as a means to manipulate the populace. It’s not they’re fault, really, they’re just taking anger that was already there and turning it into something that keeps their regime going. What better to adopt the polarization of the masses, and turn it into a tool to maintain your legitimacy as the State-God. It’s not that the politicians are all 150 IQ PhDs who understand the innerworkings of central banking, the financial system, oh phooey, they are just looking at a destabalizing nation ripe for taking advantage of.
What’s extremely important to understand is that this Vaccine Mandate shit, and the dehumanization of an entire swath of the population, could end up being cut short as people realize that the vaccine shit is just a sales tactic, that they don’t actually work, and may even be harmful. Once the truth surpasses the rhetoric, they’ll flip it around into something else. Why? Because if they don’t, the people will smell the shit and overthrow them. They have to keep distracting the population away from how shitty the post-2008/post-GFC world is. Who knows how the rhetoric will change, but I guarantee it will be some scapegoat to shift blame from themselves onto the middle class, white people, Christians, whomever, and it’ll be in the subtle language that makes it seem broad (like “unvaccinated people”).
They aren’t smart. They aren’t altruistic. Politicians, especially Democrats, and this goes for Homeland Security as well, and most bureaucratic gov’t workers, are narcissists, psychopaths, and extremely lazy. They want to get what they can from their position in power as fast as possible, and will do whatever degenerate means to obtain it, even if it means the deaths of dozens, hundreds, thousands, millions, whatever. If they have a conscience, they will justify it with “greater good” like the Nazis that they are, and move on. These people do not love you, they are not in power to fight for you, they are not idols to worship: they are, at this point, demonic idols that wish to take advantage of you, maintain the divide to garner more power and riches, and will stop at nothing to make sure they maintain that power in some respect.
Yarvin has a great solution, which is a peaceful regime-change where these people are simply bought out and given a nice retirement; bungalow in the California Redwoods area, or something.
Something to get cemented in your mind, though, is: their rhetoric will not change. They will continue to turn you into the enemy, flipflop the truth, and because moral and cultural relativism are so popular, change their ethics day-by-day. If Covid and the vaccines are no longer talking points to manipulate you, they will start to say your whiteness or your Christianity is oppressive and that you have to be taxed for it, or thrown in gulags. They are unideological. They are simply tyrants using power they’ve been handed.
The fallout of the GFC was too hard for the global economy to bear, and now that we live in that aftermath, the psychopaths that people continuously give power to, will utilize the natural polarization blame-games that naturally arise during times of economic crisis and societies too far-gone in directions they should have never taken.
“Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.”
